Yup, when Mcfadden is on the side lines of Oakland in a knee brace, and Pace and Gholston have racked up the largest tandum sack ratio in the league. I can't wait. MY skinny ass wife has stronger looking legs then McFadden. I cannot believe some of you wanted to take him so high in the draft. Leave the huge blunders for Oakland to take. This year is NO DIFFERENT!
I have an idea. Lets lose every single game this year so we can be guaranteed to get the #1 draft pick next year!
im pretty sure mcfadden would come to new york and create a football team of his own illegitimate kids
it's not stupid for a fan to root for a loss if they will get more satisfaction from a higher draft choice than a win that doesn't have significant impact for the benefit of a season, like making the playoffs or simply reaching a win milestone to feel good about and build upon going into the next. winning four games instead of three doesn't provide anything better to build on, especially when you drop there from 10 wins. what is stupid is for a team not to play to win, and no fan wants a team that tries to lose at any point. huge difference between wanting the team to lose and wanting the team to want to lose. don't confuse the two. I'm glad the team played to win against KC, but I can still be upset that they didn't lose.
the saints offered KC a first this year #10, a 2nd this year, and a 1st next year. that's a good haul for dropping down 5 spots. the chiefs didn't take it, but we would have had that kind of offer if not for that meaningless win.
I Dont know i loved beating that Douche Herm Edwards but considering we could of had Darren McFadden if we lost makes it tough but....FUK HERMAN!
The same thing happened in week 17 of 2005 and it cost us the immortal reggie Bush. NONE of these guys are locks to become big time players, I'm glad we won in week 17 regardless of what happens in the draft. If you have the right people running you drafts you can find good players anywhere.
You and others who wanted to tank that game fail to realize that there were 45 players on the field that day along with 10 or so coaches who play or coach football for a living on a 3 win team. These people have families and lives to live and were playing for their jobs. Do you honestly think that some players or coaches who ran the risk of being replaced this offseason would go out on the field and lose on purpose so that the "franchise" could improve their draft position? That view is completely unrealistic and idiotic. By the way, who was the player the Jets lost out on? Any of the first 6 players could have gone in any order and nobody would have been surprised.
