I don't expect anything. I'm running on faith alone at this point. I pray that I don't have to be sitting down in agony because it is such a close game. IE: Jets Vs Atlanta

I can do without another game like that. I can handle it if we make the playoffs, but not before. I just can't.

I hope you don't expect a cakewalk, Cincy is strong against the run as was mentioned already, if they force the Jets to pass we could be in trouble.

I hope we can get contributions from all aspects of our team, if our ST blows up we could be looking at a repeat of the Falcons game.

I expect the stadium to be half empty and the game to be closer than it needs to be.

I agree with that...to an extent. I think it will fill up but its going to be empty at kickoff as usual.

As far as the game...this is the Jets. Even if O'Sullivan plays the entire game I think its going to be close. Cincy has two of the best corner tandems in the league and they are strong against the run. If they shut us down at the line...Sanchez is going to have to make plays. Rookie or not he needs to grow up this week and play smart. If its not there...throw it away!!!

I think Marvin Lewis will keep most of his starters in till at least mid third quarter. Backups or not...he's still gonna keep 9 in the box and make Mark have to win it.

Sanchez turns it over more than twice...we're toast.

i think the stadium will be rocking..i think the fans will make alot of noise and it will give the jets some confidence and a reason to get to the playoffs. if we make it, it can be a start to a whole new situation =)

first offensive play will be a double reverse from the wildcat formation b.smith to j.co to b.e. who stops and throws down field to b.smith.

Cincy scares me. They have a very good run defense and if we can't run the ball on them we will have a tough time scoring. If we have to put it in the air lets pray Sanchez doesn't make the big mistake. The good thing is I don't think their offense will be able to do much against our D.

I don't want to sit the entire game!!

Even if things get rough the crowd has to keep the energy up-

    Expectations.........

The Bengals are going to rest their players similar to the Colts. It will not matter, the Jets will win this one handily, setting up a rematch in Cinci. Should be interesting to see which teams recent checkered past catches up with them in the playoffs.

I think if the Bengals choose to sit their players in the second half, they will come out guns a blazing in the first. They are a solid team, and will have a definite chip on their shoulder with being snubbed for the Pro Bowl. There are many that are dismissing this game as foregone conclusion....Do I need to remind you of Miami, Buffalo and Atlanta ? And some are forgetting who there #2 receiver is....he might feel he has something to play for.

Going into this game, I do believe the JETS will have the motivation and crowd to make it happen. I think the game, as in usual JETS fashion, will be closer than people think. Cheers.

I expect us to play well and the Bengals to mail it in. 17 to 10 possibly 24 to 10 if the D puts up a score or two. Cold frozen field on the road with nothing to play for makes this a perfect set up for us.

I expect to win this game. I expect to come out on fire and pound the rock all night long.

Of course Schotty will throw one of his completely retarded, wrong time to call reverses in there but we will still win.

200 yards and 3 TD on the ground for TJ and SG and 125 in the air for Sanchez who will run one in for a score.

Most people here, including myself, seem to think that the jets have a good shot at not only winning this week but next.

As good as all that playoff experience would be for rex and sanchez, the NFL looks as though it will be uncapped next year. Under those conditions, the top 8 teams from the playoffs won't be able to sign free agents unless they lose one of the same "type." However, an uncapped year means that most free agents will be restricted, as well.

Which scenario do you all think benefits us more next year and beyond. Rex and Sanchez winning at least one playoff game or being able to sign free agents in an uncapped year?
