^This. If that was a no call in a meaningful game it would have been one of the worst no calls in history. Cruz pushed Lowery to the ground by his face when Lowery actually had a play on the ball. Lowery had that played perfectly until the interference. We all agree Coleman needs to go. Cole is only a second year player, so I'm willing to give him some time, but Coleman is garbage. That Cruz kid has some skills though. Certainly not your average camp fodder. He's going to make that team and see some action this season.
I just really don't understand how Coleman is still on this team. Lowery did not get "burned all night". He got mauled on a one handed freak catch. He was even laughing afterward. In the second half watching Lowery, I thought, Lowery is good enough to be a started and is covering scrubs. Until he got mauled by Cruz. No way would the refs have allowed that in a game. Cruz only had one arm free to catch the pass because he had lowery in a headlock with the other arm.
I have heard of them before but they average to a little above average to me. You said they have a CB with the last name gay. Is that the same one we wanted a few years back from the pats? and not to mention the Saints just got patrick robinson. My point was none of their CBs can compare to Cro, and not even within miles of Revis.
Its still preseason you cant get a feel for how good a player is until they go against opposing teams #1s
A Giants fan mentioned Cromartie shying from contact on the Bradshaw run and I had to check the tape... He's right..... Cromartie should have crushed Bradshaw and just wilted.... UGGGH!!!!!
Pool made a hell of a play chasing down Ahmad Bradshaw on a long run early in the game. It was a touchdown saving tackle.
Based off of Tannenbaums comment on hard knocks about possibly trading for a corner (assuming revis sits out the year) I think it becomes a reality soon. Unfortunately our secondary is going to be a liability this year. Even with Cromartie on the #1, the #2's we face this year(Welker, TO, Jennings or Driver, Harvin) will have a field against our secondary.
wilson's tackeling looked very solid which will help him immensly. guys are going to catch the ball off him untill he's a few years in and gets better and realizes tendencies and how to exploit. preventing these guys from getting any more yards will let rex be more comfortable to blitz that sides safety
Was Wilson playing way off the line last night because it looked like Cro was in tight man to man and Wilson was giving a big cushion.
