i prefer the jags losing on sunday and the jets having 100% control of their playoff destiny than seeing the jags win their final 2, NE to split, and the jets looking in from the outside at 10-6. Making it to the show is more important than winning the division.
I agree with jonnyd, we need to "control our own destiny" going into week 17 and that starts with the Pats beating the Jags. I'm not going to sit in my living room with my Tom Brady Jersey on, and cheer rah rah everytime the Pats score, but I'd like them to win it.
This time of year you root for who you have to root for and you don't worry about it. I rooted for Miami once in the last ever NFL game at the Orange Bowl and they fucking blew it, to New England, of course. By the way, knowing how much Bellichick hates the Jets and Mangini, I wouldn't be surprised if he did start Vinny in this game, or the other guy they have.
No way, not if the Chiefs have 0 to play for. Mr "I play to win the game" tends to play to lose the game. Let NE win and have our destiny in our hands. I don't want to watch any scoreboards after Sunday. I want to watch Jets games and know if they win both, we play AGAIN on 1/6 or 1/7!
You're probably right. Imagine the press conference after a game where he did that. It would be even more of a hostage tape than the one when he quit as "HC of the NYJ".
I dunno man. He did it last year to get Jax. There was no other reason to put Cassel in. I don't think Brady got nicked in that game? He got off the accelerator if that's the case.
cbs in ny? i just checked tv guide.com for westchester(NY) and they show paid prgramming at 1pm -4pm on sunday with the giants on fox
Period..end of story. Anyone that has trouble rooting for Brady and the pats..would you rather root for Herm and the Chiefs? Forget about who you hate more...who do you trust more. GULP AND GO PATS.
If we had beaten Buffalo I'd be rooting like hell for the Jags Sunday, but not now. We need to find the door with the highest percentage of chance to get in, and that's by rooting for the Pats. NE isn't going to drop both games... no way.
KC losing two games at home in December would be amazing. Last year they closed at home by beating the pulp out of San Diego and Cincinnati.
