Its not based on career. obviously there is no comparison careerwise. Its based on right now. a 24 year old QB with a 100+ QB rating on the season, or a 41 year old beat up QB who is playing like crap right now. Its not even close sanchez all the way

    Exactly

Great point. LT is the careerwise best active RB in the NFL. and its not even close. and he's playing lights out as well averaging over 6YPC, but he still isn't better at this point in his career then AP is

Cus LT had a good year last year like Brett Favre right. Oh yea no LT looked bad for an entire season and AP has looked good his whole career and since his career has started hes been better then LT. Once again. Dont be stupid

First off Sanchez has a better offense around him which helps him look good. It will take a bit more then 4 weeks for people to think Brett Favre is worse then Mark Sanchez lol. This shouldnt even be a conversation. I love Mark but come on Jets homers you really expect people outside of Jets fans to think Mark Sanchez is better then Favre.

And no he didnt make a good point.

I think real experts will KNOW that there are at least 20 QBs out there better then favre is.

    1. So int-prone "Gun-Slinger" is superior to a QB that has 1. posted 100+ rating so far 2. has thrown far more TDs (8) and 3. No turnover on his own. Wow. That's smart.

    2. One has led his team to the conference final while hampered by his rookie QB during the season, while the other one went to the conference final on the arms of veteran QB. The one with rookie gets the nod, no? Oh. I didn't think so.

Mark is having the better season, and the better offense. I'd give him the nod in this game over the HOFer.

Same with coach. And when it comes to adjusting and making imporant changes on the fly, Rex wins over Childress.

Only their front 4 is better than the Jets DL, and Peterson does beat out any back 1 on 1... but the argument can be made that the Jets have the better running game and philosophy right now.

Childress looks more like a biology teacher than a football coach.

The fact that he's Brett Favre and everyone in the media wants his dong (except Jenn Sterger), makes the Vikings QB higher rated.

Some of you guys are Num Nums.

    It's not the HEAD coach
    it's for all the Coaches...

The comparisons are ALL by positions...

So the VIKINGS coaches as a group are rated higher than the.....

    GTFO!
    People pay for that shit?

He went to the NFC championship game and lost to the superbowl winning saints. Which is kinda better then us losing to the superbowl losing Colts in the AFC CG

    i Understand your logic however

    Rex > Childress
Pettine (Spelling) > their D coordiantor (we did have the number 1 D last year)
Westohoff > Their Sp teams coach (westhoff is the best in the business)

So even if their offesnive coordinator is better (which i'm not so sure of) i think were better in 3 of the 4 main coaches (o-coordiantor, d-coordiantor, special teams, head coach)

Of course, the talent on his Vikings team was vastly superior to what the Jets had last season. And the Vikings lost the NFCCG as a direct result of an unforgivable coaching mistake (12 men in the huddle.)

Not to mention the fact that we hear almost daily reports of the Vikings lacking respect for Childress, while most Jets players would follow Rex Ryan to hell and back.

Yeah but, we probably would have beaten the Saints. They didn't score a single offensive TD in the regular season against us. Also Childress sucks as a coach so they could have never beaten the Colts.
