Blah Blah Blah, that all the post amounts to, have fun next season with the most electrifying player in the NFL who will never win you big games or take you to the Superbowl, oh yeh and he has Herpes. Right now I would honestly hope we make Abe sit out a year and he can lose some money, I would rather cut of my nost to spite my face then to give in to a whinny players demands
I don't think we're gonna hear anything until late next week... But for the love of god, please don't let TJ Ducket be a Jet....
What was interesting was that, as Green Machine pointed out on Friday, the home page picture of the falcons website was a picture of JA chasing Mexico.
Seattle has the arbitration with Hutchinson tomorrow. This will either help the Jets if it goes in Minnesota’s way or hurt towards Seattle. If Hutch is gone Seattle gets more active on this trade and offers more money to ABE. This will dictate if Home is where the heart is with ABE. I say he takes the money..
Where, oh where, to begin??!!!! 1) How do you know the Falcons got the best of the Jets? The falcons were bidding against the Seahawks. And the Hawks had the better offer. If the Jets made a deal that means whatever the Falcons offered was worth more than the 31st overall pick. So who succumbed to who? 2) The Jets made the playoffs 3 out of the past 5 years. So if the Falcons just had an off year, what did the Jets have? Also we had a coach that wanted out, and half the team injured. What were the Falcons excuse? 3) And you really want to bring up the Giants on a Jets message board? I mean how dumb are you? 4) Link please. Letting others post the proof to your own thread is weak.
NO it's not, don't make all Falcon fans over here trying to get info, look stupid with you're false reports.
Hopefully this Abe mess gets cleared up shortly either keep him here, or send him on his way allready!!
NFL Radio is saying that the Seahawks have put an offer on the table for the 31 overall pick, so I doubt that the Abe-to-Atlanta for a 2nd round pick is trade is going to happen.
From what I hear Atlanta has begun to change the parameters of what they are willing to offer. Whether we change it enough for the Jets to bite, nobody knows for sure. We have 2 things working in our favor at the moment. 1.) Seattle has Peterson in for a visit, Law in for a visit, and still have the arbitration with Hutchinson on Monday. If they keep Hutch, and sign either Law or Peterson. They won't be able to afford Abraham under the cap anymore. They might have to withdraw their offer if Abe holds out long enough. 2.) Abraham has already agreed to terms with Atlanta, and wants to play there. He has until Friday to hold out and try to force the Jets hand. This could make for a VERY long week.
Its obvious you came over here to elicit the response you received. But since you write and reason like a 12 year old, please allow me to give you a little lesson in the history of your beloved Falcons. In 40 years of existence, they have NEVER had two winning seasons in a row. In case you don't understand what that means, they have NEVER finished with a record of better than .500 two years in a row IN THEIR ENTIRE EXISTENCE. Now go back the kiddee matinee.
You didn't really have to rub that in like that C.T., not all Falcon fans over here at the moment are dumbasses. Couldn't you just insult him or his mama.
It must be embarrassing for the organization, when a guy like Chad Pennington, after two shoulder surgeries, is still a better passing QB than Vick.
...Atlanta can have Abe and all his playoff sacks. Only Jason taylor is as bad in that area, although, pretty boy at least dresses for those games, Abe's out getting loaded...
No, it is not, and that sealed your fate here. We have a policy against posting false news and information, and you blatently violated it. Bye.
He should be spanked and sent back to his room. We have no time to engae with children..no matter his age.
Duckett is certainly in the mix in this trade scenario. How do you guys feel about acquiring him? He will certainly be used as a fullback?
haha Superbowl champion GM..... Let me tell you something about you're dumb GM, if you aren't ready to give up something for a quality probowl player, then you aren't going to get him. I dont know why atlanta fans are happy about them not trading whatever it takes to get abraham. Even Seattle who has a right end already is offering their first rounder and they were one game from the superbowl. And their offer of a player is TJ DUckett?!.....Like New York needs another running back. Face it falcon fans, if your GM isn't ready to give up something good in return for something good, then prepare to see a lifetime of Michael Vick run a show.....but only in the regular season and see him run to his fridge for a beer in the postseason.
Abe has no leverage to force the Jets hand. They don't have to trade him. The Jets own his rights. Just because Abe wants to play in Atlanta doesn't mean the Jets will facilitate his wishes and take a hit in the process.
