Blanton made a ton of strides in TC. Early, he looked very slow out of his stance and had poor footwork. But as preseason arrived he looked like a completely different player showing great technique, taking advantage of his long arms. If he developed more on the PS, I believe he may very well have a shot at the starting RT job. His imposing size and youth would be a great addition to the OL, hopefully leading to a better running game. And just an additional comment to what you were saying about us not running outside T Bird.... The reason why we havent taken advantage of Brick and Mangold's athleticism, is b/c none of the other OL's can seal block. You have to have someone who can turn the contain-man to the inside, or at least present him from maintaining an angle of pursuit that disrupts the outside running lane. The tandem of McKenzie/Becht was great at this, but since than..we have struggled.
