Bruised lung, a rib injury, good chance he misses at least 1 game. What are you trying to argue, that the Jets are better than the Ravens? They very well could beat them, but based on what I've seen so far, the Ravens are a better team. Other than "U STOP RICE U STOP RAVENS" you haven't really made a point. Obviously Vegas can't get every game right, but they might be the best indicator of how 2 teams are projected to play in a given week. If you don't believe that, then it's hopeless.
What's your point??? Ray Rice is a great player, but to say as you clearly stated..."U stop Ray Rice and the Jets win"....is myopic. The Ravens are a very talented offensive team even without Rice.
He's not ruled out, yet. But they're monitoring his pain tolerance. Even if he can go this week, he won't be 100%. link
And another thing, Sanchez with no running game and no O-Line against Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, and the rest of the Ravens D scares the shit out of me.
I just realized guys.......RAY RICE is an awesome fantasy player...thaty's why the Jets will win if we stop him. How stupid on my part, what was I thinking. The Jets are already 3-1 today.
Hey there, Jets fans! The line seems about right to me. The 3 points for being at home, give or take half a point. I'm impressed that some of you are so familiar with our team. Before the opening game one Steelers troll on the Ravens forum suggested that a large chunk of their fans couldn't even name our QB. While that's ridiculous, I wouldn't necessarily expect a Jets fan to rattle off Dickson and Pitta as weapons to look out for. Shows you guys are paying attention! I expect a tough, close game between two teams that aren't all that different. Last game was a real nailbiter. Keller doesn't decide to step out on 4th down and that game could have easily gone your way. I'm glad we're at home this time around as we're usually pretty tough in our house. Either way, good luck to you fellows every week after this one!
Nice post. Obviously, we're a little negative about our own team this week, myself included. Most Jets fans have a ton of respect for the Ravens. As we should, we took our coach and MLB from you. Plus, the Ravens are always a good team.
Tennesee might be worse than any team we have played. This has been an odd season for a lot of teams so far. I don't have a problem with the line mostly because the jets looked bad yesterday. This game is basically a toss up heading into it.
As crazy as it may sound, I think we will win this game. As long as the offensive line wakes up and protects Sanchize better, you will see Sanchez break loose, as long as he doesn't make stupid mistakes. Last year, the first game of the season proved it. Now I know things have changed, and we have lost certain areas, but Sanchez was held back that game. We were obliterated by the Patriots in the regular season, but came back and beat them in the playoffs. As much as I hate it, the Jets are known for their "edge of your seat" wins, and frankly, they seem to amaze me at times. I'm not here to say that we are a better team, because as of right now, the Ravens are way ahead of us in that area, but I think we will surprise some people this weekend. You gotta remember, Rex is a genius when it comes to defense, I am pretty certain he is not going to let another thing happen like it did last game. He is going to be on their ass all week, you better believe it. There is too many reasons why this game is huge, one of the biggest being the ex players and coaches that are now Jets. It's going to be a good game, but I think we come out on top. Just my .02 cents.
