Last year no one had the Seahawks and Redskins in the playoffs before the season began. This just illustrates how much the NFL changes now from year to year. However, unless something drastic happens, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and New England look like the clear favorites in each league for 2013. I think Detroit may surprise people again.
Why do you think the Falcons miss the playoffs? Just picking a team that doesn't go back from last year since the NFL has so much turnover from playoff team year to year, or specific reasons/beliefs?
That's the fun part of predicting. You have the teams you listed that look like locks, then you have 6-8 teams in each league for the remaining 4 spots in each league. Who's going to be the odd team out?
Im at the point where I might not put San Fran in the playoffs, its hard, I might not put the Falcons in either.
With all the crap that everyone in the world talks about the Jets and all of the fans who follow the trend and like to make fun of them it makes me want even more for them to make the playoffs just so that we can laugh in their faces and say I told you so. For all the non-believers. But, I do not think that they make the playoffs this year unfortunately. I think it ends up being New York (beat San Fransisco) vs Seattle (beat Green Bay) in the NFCG and Denver (Beat New England) vs Houston (beats Cincinatti) in the AFCG. I think the Super Bowl from this matchup is Denver and Seattle.
AFC is weak. Jets Slip into the playoffs and make some noise. Dream : Jets vs Seattle Reality: Houston vs. San Fran
NFC 1. Saints 2. Seahawks 3.Packers 4.Giants 5.49ers 6.Bucs Packers defeat Bucs Giants defeat 49ers Saints defeat Giants Seahawks defeat Packers Seahawks defeat Saints AFC 1. Broncos 2. Bengals 3. Colts 4. Patriots 5. Dolphins 6. Ravens Colts defeat Ravens Dolphins defeat Patriots Bengals defeat Colts Broncos murder Dolphins Broncos defeat Bengals Super Bowl: Seahawks defeat Broncos.
Seattle Broncos would be kinda boring for a NY atmosphere, unless Seattle were to knock out the Giants.
How do you guys view the Chargers? I completely forgot about them. The whole new coach thing might change the recent losing culture, I think they could take a wildcard.
2013 NFL Season Predictions AFC: 1. Houston Texans 2. Denver Broncos 3. Cincinatti Bengals 4. New England Patriots 5. Kansas City Chiefs 6. Pittsburgh Steelers NFC: 1. Seattle Seahawks 2. There was a thread about this awhile back, and I put some predictions in, but it'll be interesting, and more accurate probably now to do it, now that we're closer to the actual season. Also, I have been extremely bored lately, making bold, and crazy predictions that I don't exactly think will happen, but could see happening. Also, I took time to re-name every team something more appropriate. I don't feel like being a thread hog and making new threads for stuff that honestly is kind of stupid, so maybe I'll just post all this in this thread, seems appropriate.
Ok I went thru my subscribed threads and finally found it. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=78119 These threads could be merged since they are the same thing. NBD if not..
Yea just take the "early" out of the title because after week 3 everyone pretty much knows what the teams are going to be.
