Lowery just happened to be blitzing on that side. That was more on Orton not falling on it then Lowery falling on it. Anyway gift win that we all will take. Officiating was horrible, absolutely horrible. Sanchez not great but did what he had to in the end. Gift win 5-1 to the bye week.
My heart was racing that entire fourth quarter and it culminated with that play. It was so unreal instead of cheering like a maniac I started laughing at that disaster of a play for the broncos. Man.. that was awesome. Broncos left some points out there and so did we, plus the refs were shitbags in a lot of those PI/personal foul calls. At least they threw us that bone at the end with the PI call against Holmeslice.
Lucky the fucked up the snap... but Lowery was in the right place at the right time... that's not luck imo.
In your future? How long have you been a Jets fan? Shit man, I've been on it for years... (Not really)
Watching the highlights on nfl.com, I love how you can see Orton mouth, "fuck me," after Lowery recovered the fumble. Good stuff.
He also did the smart thing and just fell on it and protected it rather than be a dunce and try to pick it up and run with it like a lot of guys do. In short, Lowery should have went out of bounds.
I resented this guy.. HATED him for not showing up in the AFCCG, but this season, he puts a smile on my face..
DLO is in the position that fits his skill sets better than he was last year. He's got a great field awareness but he lacks the elite speed to play a one on one #1 or #2 corner in the nfl. As a nickle/dime or safety he's in a position to excel. If you watch how often he's around a play, even if he's not the one making the play, you get a sense for his awareness on the field and if your around the play most of the time if a ball comes loose it's not luck if you recover a few fumbles along the way.
