How successful do you think NFL teams are adding impact players per draft class? 1-2 impact players per draft seems to be league average.
On another board, someone started a thread that if you had to pick 4 players from offense and 4 players from defense to keep, who would choose? It was really tough coming up with players, particularly on offense.
i do have an answer. what's the point in arguing with someone that cannot spell the word offense? why waste my time with someone who clearly will never ever change his opinion
Dave Caldwell, GM of Jaguars has drafted 11 impact players for his team since he took over 4 years ago. 7 on offense and 4 on defense, not just bodies but guys like Robinson who is leaving as FA. Do you think Mac will have this team in the championship game anytime soon at the rate he is drafting? He has had C to D grade drafts so far, and no impact players on offense. This will be his last off season if he has another bad draft and the team goes 5-11 this year.
Really? Did I dismiss your post because you omitted the apostrophe in "doesn't"? As to "never ever change his opinion", I've done so often when I was convinced of the other person's POV, but I don't recall you being so open-minded. And getting booty-tickled because I don't agree with you is the very definition of "never ever changing one's mind". But carry on.
Leo is very good but not elite. Adams and Maye had good first years but it's uncertain how good they can be. Anderson is better known for his off the field antics than his play. Enunwa was a 2 receiver on a bad team, a 3 on a good one. Now he's coming off surgery. Most other teams have better young players than this group.
The Jets don't spend first rounders on offense. They keep blowing second round picks on offense. That's why the offense looks like The Little Rascals.
Besides our safteys and a couple WRs what young talent do we have?ASJ is gone which is a bad move ....we need a running back.Mac doesn't seem to want to over pay anyone ....which means no one is coming here.
And to think that we could've had him as our GM if Woody wasn't stubborn about Tanny's replacement having to keep Rex.
