the Phins would be wiser to hire someone young that will grow with the organization. someone younger would probably be able to bring some of that missing stability to the Phish. I don't want Schotty gone, because I agree with you the his offensive ideas/schemes and his ability to really plan the game to our stregnths. (i know the peguin is the gameplanner, but you guys know what i mean) and was key to the success we had this season. you look at those HCs named, johnson, wannstadt and saban....those 3 guys were all well known around the league, had had a HC gig before and had at least some success (Saban was nothing but successful in college). maybe the best thing for their organization is someone unknown, like i said. it might be time for them to try something different. i still hope they stay and drink the kool aid and have another 10 shitty years in a row...
All I know is that I hope Schotenheimer gets hired as a head coach somewhere other than the AFC East. I was really impressed with his sucess in NY given the glaring lack of running game and overall passing game weapons. I think Cotchery is a really good up and coming player but I think Coles has seen his better days and Baker is a big time under acheiver...I personally would like to see the Dolphins hire someone like Jim Mora Jr. or bring Dave Wandstet back...maybe try and pry Herm away from the Chiefs...Speaking of Herm, how BAD is he??? the entire free world saw that he should've pulled the plug on Trent before halftime and he just stuck to his stubborn guns... I really can't believe there were actually Herm supporters on this site for as long as there were.... Lastly, I still can't beleive the number of Pennington Hater/non-beleivers there are out there... The guy is very good. Be careful what you wish for....

i dont want him in the afc east either. i dont think DW wants to go back to the NFL. he is loving it at Pitt (unless he gets some consideration for the steelers job). i would think that even if any team other than the steelers showed interest, the organization would have to be in a much better position than miami is is. why go BACK to your trainwreck? you know? herm sucks,he isnt here, and i love it. the thing with herm on sat though was when he found something that worked, he went away from it because it deviated from the plan. i dont think ive ever seen a team make less halftime adjustments than in the KC/INDY game. it was just pathetic. when KC scored, it was when green was like 6/6 on that drive. then they tried to run the ball again, which failed. it was awesome watching herm run another team into the ground during the playoffs. how nice was it he was wearing red?!!! it would have been great to play them THIS year either reg season or (more so) playoffs....just so mangini would make him look like a buffoon scratching his head.
