Haha! I look forward to watching him struggle in south florida. Haha, this is a signing that Dolphins fans will realize a year or two from now was a huge mistake.
They went 9-7 last year with SAGE ROSENFELS AND GUS FREROTTE, there should be no celebration from Jets fans
I shouldn't say anything yet, because nobody knows how big of an impact Culpepper will have in Miami, but where do you get these guys from???... Does anyone know a good / potentially great player when they see one???...
That would potentially be one great offense. Owens, Chambers, McMichael, Brown, Williams and Culpepper. Wow. I am just real real glad Linehan went to St. Louis. Owens is due a big bonus today and should be cut today. The downside to Culpepper is his salary. I believe he has a big bonus due next week and he may not be ready to play at the start of this year. The Vikings would not let any team examine Culpepper before a trade. For allw e know it might be 2007 before he is ready to play. But when he is ready he has some serious weapons with or without Owens.
It's been gone for a couple of days now genius. Sure, I was a Brees wagoner, I wont deny that, but I never once said anything about not wanting Culpepper. I knew we would end up with one or the other. I'm very satisfied this hour. How you feeling???...
He has? CBS sportsline still reports that he is due a $6 millon bonus next week. The other aticles I have read regarding the trade do not mention any agreement with the Phish to restructure.
You know how it is, same way on finheaven. Everybody has someone like that in thier family, some other families just have more.
The article on ESPN does not report that Culpepper has resrutured rather it said he has not restructured but does talk about Brees deal with NO. That might have confused you. But ESPN does go onto say they will most likely ask Culpepper to restructure. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2368259
I think you guys underrate Culpepper a lot. He was the MVP two seasons ago if it wasn't for Peyton Manning breaking the TD record. I know he had Moss, but he had one of the greatest individual seasons any QB had. Moss missed a lot of time that year also. He turned Burleson into a 1,000 yard reciever and used the whole offense. 2004: 69.2 comp. %, 4717 yards, 39 TD, 11 INT, 110.9 QB rating Those are some VERY impressive numbers. I know he's coming off the injury and all, but he can be great.
He has a problem holding onto the ball. I have been at the bar many times watching games to hear the moaning and disgust of Min. fans over this guy? Remember last year when he got injured who saved the ship for this team? Brad Johnson.
He's cheaper by far than Brees. And lets compare knee surgury to shoulder surgury...say, McGahee to Pennington?
Ok, so the only QB's worth starting for an NFL team are Rothlesburger and Brady. Every other QB in the NFL sucks. Gotcha. Thanks for the insight.
I'd rather have Brees than Culpepper. But Miami is still gonna be a pain in the ass now that they have Daunte.....
major injury, he will never be the same. you'll see. i cant wait to see how many pics he throws next year. o/u = 20
