Tony is not a great coach but he is a good coach. The real "Moronos" are the retards sitting in the front office. When Tony actually had a decent QB he got the team to an 11-5 season. Yeah, it was a weak schedule, but nonetheless. His input on players weighed somewhere from 0 to 0. He even tried to bench that sack of shit Henne halfway through this season. You can thank the overrated fatass Parcells freelancing for SF right now in part, and the backstabbing Ireland for the other, but using Tony as the lone scapegoat is pathetic. Ross is a clown and this has been nothing short of an amateurish 3 ring circus. Sundayjack was kidding, but J-Lo and Anthony seriously couldn't fuck this up more than Ross did. Youah lawst. Jeff Ireland is a good GM, and Tony is an OK coach. You bring up the fact that he succeeded with a good QB but that was because the offense was designed for him. When Henne came in they failed to adjust to his strengths and weaknesses. Every Dolphin fan who pays attention knows that Henne really struggles with play action yet they keep calling it. Seriously I wish I had the numbers at hand but he was absolutely pathetic while using play action and his numbers aside from that were good
We don't know how much influence Parcells had over Ireland. He was Parcell's lapdog the entire time Parcells was there. I guess we'll see how well he does on his own this year if he is to remain. And I don't care how good Jake Long is, Matt Ryan has his team at 13-3 and has his team with a first round bye and the Dolphins are at home and sending Long to the probowl. They had no balls in that draft.
Bill Cowher didn't give the Gay Sharks a chance. In my opinion, that means he turned them down. He doesn't want to work for an organization that's stupid enough to keep someone like Jeff Ireland around.
