of course you do because we cant win a tie breaker on the pats anyways unless we somehow went up to foxboro and won... we have lost way to many divisional games at this point...

Bottom line is the onyl chance we have at the division is beating the pats.. Let them beat the dolphins next week so we can remain in 2nd place atleast

actually, you'd root for the pats. Right now I am almost 100% possitive that the Pats win the division and the only chance for us to make the playoffs is through wildcard.

If the Dolphins win they have hope and they may even pull a better record than us and might take our chances of the wildcard spot.

P.S. I see the ravens and bengals making the wildcard but i'd think it's more realistic for us to make a wildcard spot than beating the Pats for the division.

I didnt say we were but record wise if we beat the Jags in two weeks we are 5-4 and that game becomes important for us.

As long as we finish with a better record than the Dolphins it doesn't matter what their divisional record is.

Can I please correct all of you, when you are deciding who you want to win between two hated team, you root for a team to lose, not a team to win.

Which is saying something, since the Phins haven't sniffed greatness since Marino's rookie year.

My point is if you lose next week and we win in Jacksonville that game is a big game for the Jets.

As for you guys kicking are ass up in Foxboro. We shall see I guess.

What happens in the division if this game ends up in a tie?

I'm rooting for Miami. Granted, Miami's schedule coming up isn't that easy, and they do win the head-to-head tiebreaker. But that's the grave we dug when we lost to Miami today.

New England has a lot of tough games coming up. We have to hope they lose some of them because if we take care of business, we want to bring them back to the pack and pass them.

Of course, if we lose to the Jags and Pats, it's all moot.

Is everyone in this thread on crack? Who gives a shit who wins this game? We aren't going anywhere this year. Let's be productive and think about the draft...in november...

Yes, the most productive thing to do in the middle of the season is abandon any hope and think about the draft... You may think we're going nowhere, but there are still plenty of reasons to watch the season. Your method is pathetic.

we aren't catching the Pats, so the next best thing is to stay ahead of the Fins.

    Go Patriots!

I would rather eat the butthole of a 1 week dead hyena than root for the Patriots.
