    all the 'bad' plays, the defender elevates or is coming down on the guy to make the hit. in the good plays, the defender is moving upwards into the offensive player so he can break off contact once he makes the hit.

    Our defense is aggressive, but this looks like it can be overcome with better attention to tackling form by the players and good coaching. Wouldn't hurt to have good timing, either - as a lot of the bad stuff seemed like 'don't flail your body around to make up for bad timing on tackles'
