It's hard to know what any of our linemen will do with the help of Rex's classic overload blitzes and shifting defensive alignments. It's easy to say that the Jets Offense has suffered because of vanilla schemes, but if you look at the defensive schemes, they have been just as vanilla. For Rex, at least. Although I think that's what Coples has had trouble with during camp, so I'm of the mind that he's going to suffer in those schemes at least until the halfway point, and by that time it will be likely too late for him to accumulate the kinds of stats required for a DROY award.
I wanted to see what people were thinking before we played a game. It could be fun to revisit at the end of the year.
