Your plan is simple, obvious, and sad. Hopefully Chad will not allow you to do what you are planning.
Yes, if he plays like good Pennington. I'm hoping he's taking this full year with this new system to adjust and improve. I would hope his INT's are cut back some next season.
I think he looks at where the ball is going for too long. And, defenses are watching. And, subsequently more INTs. Could be wrong. Just what I've seen. I've seen this on run plays too. He looks where the back is going too long to analyze it. Again, could be wrong on this.
I won't vote because it isn't that clear-cut. I don't see the need to sign or draft another QB to replace him. If Kellen Clemens wasn't on the team, I'd vote yes. But Clemens is on the team, he has talent, and if he becomes a better player than Chad over the next few seasons than he should start.
I think he had a pretty good game today, and it came against a team with the 5th best defensive passer rating in the NFL.
Chad will stop us from finding out how reactionary the fans on this board are? Because that looks like the plan to me.
Defensive passer rating is better then the straight rankings the NFL gives but it's still a flawed stat, just like QB rating. If you don't really cover guys you're generally in position to make some INT's on bad throws. We saw this with the Jets a couple years under Herm, they'd get passed on up and down the field and rely on the turnover to stop people. That doesn't make a good defense.
Part of his plan is hoping Chad has a bad game and to see how many people jump off their vote. That is pretty sad.
Don't worry, I promise to vote NO even if he throws 7 TDs and 0 INTs with 600+ yards over the next 2 games. Nothing can get me to change my mind. Maybe a Super Bowl win, but the Jets will never get that far with him.
No, but I'm willing to accept him for as long as he stays healthy. Ideally I'd like an upgrade though (but I can not see a situation in which Ramsey/Clemens is an upgrade.)
Isn't that sad on the part of the people who jump their vote? Half the people here clamor for his throat one week and his nuts the next.
Yes, that is very sad. I don't know why the fans are like that. But for Exit to officially prove his point, Chad will have to play bad in Miami or vs. Oakland.
The whole intention of the thread is to take advantage of timing between Chad's bad and good days in order to garner support for those who see no bad in Chad. But, it seems to have flopped a little in this.
