Al Dorow should be considered for the next mod. Nobody has shown to be a better candidate in the issue of fairness and reasonability. He's just a good guy!

Can we not piss on Dino's grave? He's probably not going to post here anymore, and I like him, and I'll miss him. I understand why the decision was made, but let's not trash him on his way out this much.
He told me he won't post anymore. Personally, I never had a problem with Dino. He seemed fine to me whenever I dealt with him. But again, its Petro's site, and I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, so I respect his decision.

All joking aside, I never really noticed Dino and I don't want to be a mod (not that I was being considered) and I trust management's ability to select another. I love it here on these boards and look forward to more fruitful discussions here on TGG. I for one, will support the election of a new moderator to replace Dino that is in favor of banning all discussions on the validity of Chad Pennington as the NYJ starting QB. :up:
I didn't see this when I posted but I agree. I don't know why everyone is now coming out of the woodworks to bash the guy. If you had your complaints about him, no he's gone so you can keep it to yourself. No need to tar and feather his memory here because he's gone.

i agree with this. Sure, he had some mishaps on the board, but who hasn't? Overall he wasn't a bad guy, and you are all being a little too harsh on him. If there is a new mod eventually, i would recommend either FITM or MSUJet
Both would be excellent choices, imo. We need a Mets fan in power :up: Seriously though, they'd be good. Both seem to patrol the BS forum alot, and thats always a good place for our mods to be.
I agree with this too. There's no reason to kick him when he's down. I for one hope he changes his mind and continues to post here. He can still offer a lot to this board.
