a lot of those wins ( most) were against teams without very good defenses, and teams who only saw him once. teams like the raiders, bills, pats wrote the book on how to beat him; either blitz (unlike bolly, he can'tscramble or throw well on the run) or else shut down the running game, clog the middle with defenders, and make him throw the long out passes. he'll throw many more picks than completions. bottom line: keep bolly , cheap on the cap, as backup and get ramsey, clemmins, or someone else to be starter and #3 qb position. they are thinking long-range, which is why pats let drew go and these guys will send chad packing.
