*sigh* I will repeat myself... Legree had Three Times as many Takcles and Sacks per game than Robertson had last year.
Actually. we are both wrong. He played in 11: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5783
because espn sucks. thats why. he was active, he played but couldnt rack up any tackles... http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20050911_NYJ@KC
Tell me you are not serious? If you are best go straight away to the nearest MD for a brain transplant
you have obviously no clue what you're talking about. legree is worthless. we cut him and nobody is interested in him. he's horrible.
All I am saying is that we got the same Sack production from Lance Legree than we got from DeWayne Robertson, and LeGree did not cost the Jets TWO first round picks AND a fourth round pick. True or False?
one year my man, its just one year. i hate to be the hypothetical D-Rob supporter but I am. if hes next to a solid NT hes great. otherwise hes just solid, but nothing spectacular. thats my verdict right now. so basically my point is, legree is off the team for a reason. mangini is even giving trevor johnson a shot at OLB, yet Legree got no chance at NT/DT and was one of the first cuts. and reports say D-Rob and Pouha seem to be taking pretty well to NT. if you dont like robertson and think he was a waste.........just say it. but seriously dont step around it by trying to make a debate of whos better? him or legree? c'mon.
that doesnt mean anything. nobody double teams a garbage DT like legree. legree had 3 times as many sacks as marcus stroud had in 05. sack numbers are overrated...you can pressure a QB 50 times and get only 5 sacks and another guy will get 10 sacks by just pressuring the QB only 20 times. its just luck, thats all. DRob can dominate and be one of the best DTs in the league if you put a solid NT next to him (see 2004, jason ferguson). legree is just garbage...plain and simple.
Did Legree have a different NT next to him than Robertson had? I mean if Legree is such garbage (And I agree he is), why couldn't Robertson do much better than him?
