Mauldin, Reilly are fine on the outside, I can live with another year of HArris. CAn't live with another DD though.
He'll be back before week 1, ACL recoveries are much better than recent past. Get well soon D. Smith!
Yikes. I couldn't tell in person how bad it was and never caught a replay of it at home. Wish him the best and hope he'll be ready to take another stab at a full season next year. Enunwa and Kenbrell, next men up.

How do you figure? Todd Gurley tore his ACL last October and didn't make it back until week 4. Tough start to his career. This is a guy who desperately needed a full offseason/training camp to master his craft. Smith is likely not going to factor into the teams plans for 2016.
While I think we all wish him well, as fast as guys are recovering from this injury/surgery, it really takes more than a a full year to get back 100%--especially a guy who's one strength is speed. If it takes him 9-10 months just to get back on the field he's missing all of the OTAs, likely most of training camp and a game or 2. I think it's more likely than not he starts the year on 6 week IR. And we shouldn't count on much of anything until 2017. Sucks but this is a cruel sport. _
Did Gurley stay in school after his injury? If so, going to classes, studying, meeting with teams, spending time at the Combine, all took time away from his rehab. Individuals also heal at different paces, and it will depend upon the severity of the tear.
When he comes back depends on the severity of the injury - if it's "just" an ACL, he could be back next year. If there is cartilage damage, damage to the mcl or meniscus, or setbacks in the PT process, that would cause a longer rehab and delay his availability. Of course, he will likely be tentative and will have to re-learn to trust the knee. And yes, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Depends on the sport and the surgery itseIf, I would think. For football, I don't know the timeline. For basketball and soccer, it's longer than that. I've seen PL soccer players tear an ACL and while the surgery and rehab isn't long, getting back to their previous match quality may take over a year.
