He's going to want too much money for me to be interested. The Jets need to upgrade the o-line and add a dependable 3rd down back to complement Ivory.

This is the kind of move the smart brain tells you isn't the right one. RB is just not a good position to overpay for. That being said, you know we'd all be fucking pumped if he was a Jet. Hall of Fame talent. Whether or not he stays healthy for the next 4 years determines whether he makes the actual Hall of Fame.

The Jets should at least look into him. The kid has turned into a full fledged stud. Not just this year but in 2013 Dallas would've been a much better team had they fed the Murray train more. Murray has great vision, exceptional athleticism for someone 220 and can bowl over defenders with his strength. One great trait about him, like Marshawn, is that they always get positive yards even when there's no holes at the line of scrimmage.

It's a tough call. Do you throw huge money at a premiere WR like D Thomas, a premiere RB like Murray or just bring in more good players at more positions and address more needs with the available cap space?

I personally think for the Jets they'd probably get more use out of Murray than D Thomas just because of their current QB situation. Murray's got 4 more big seasons left in him which will leave him at 30. After that it's anyone's guess.

I think another CJ(Spiller) is much more realistic than Murray.

I think we could let Harvin go and sign Spiller to replace what Harvin is able to do then target another WR in FA/draft.

I can see the New York Jets building a team around Murray in the immediate future (next season)

I cannot see the New York Jets building a team around Marriota or any of the Vet QB's of "interest" in the immediate future (3 seasons at best).

People have mentioned D. Thomas in here. That is about the only signing I would put over Murray in terms of importance in the off season. If D. Thomas can be had throw him the money; if not throw Murray the money, and finally set some interest in the offensive line (Oline should be top priority regardless).

I'm not expecting us to go RB crazy in Free Agency but I'd be happy to give him the 4 year deal Marshawn Lynch is playing on if there's a way for an out Year 4.

Basically I see us overspending on one Free Agent. Demaryius Thomas would be that guy if he hits the open market but Denver isn't letting a stud of his caliber go.
Revis is the next guy I see us going after but everything I've seen him post on social media shows him happy in New England..I see them working a deal out.

I'd rather steal Bulaga or Cobb from Green Bay..Cobb could be the #1 receiver here for less than or around what Harvin was supposed to make. Bulaga is one of the better RTs in the league and could easily be moved to LT if needed be later on in his contract or if Brick gets injured..That said the 4 guys I'd rather have are the top FA's in the game and unrealistic to assume we'd sign, Revis and DT might not even hit the open market. If we strike out on those 4 players Murray might be the way to go.

If the market for RBs is truly depressed to the point we can get him around 7mil per I'm in. He sure took some wear and tear this past season but he was the best back in the league and we won't need to run him into the ground with Ivory on the team. Ivory could still get 10-15 carries a game in relief to keep Murray's legs fresh while we're a better ground and pound team than ever.

probably a reach, I'd love to see Ivory get the amount of carries Demarco got though.. he'd be very effective.

I don't remotely see how RB is a position we need to break the bank on. Who's the last team to sign a big-time FA RB and, you know, win?

Offensive line and cb should be our main priority in free agency

I have been saying we need to build our offensive side on the ball for a few years. Listen I think Murray is a damn good runner
but if he comes to the Jets with our O-line he will not have those numbers. HELL Geno barely had 2 seconds to get rid of the ball
how do think Murray would feel about getting hit in the back field. I will pass. Take a page from Dallas and draft O-linemen

Cooper will be gone, But this kid White will be just as good as Cooper if not better and he is a lot taller.

Regardless, if Murray is hitting the open market the Jets should take a look.

Running the ball use to be something we were very good at. It's when we tried to be like the "hot" passing teams in the league we failed. Even last season, we could have had a much better offense if we championed any commitment to the ground. Instead, we had Geno Smith throwing the ball 25+ times a game in 9 games, Big surprise it was awful.

Stop trying to be like everyone else. Run the ball. Protect the football. Play Action Pass.

White is a beast! probably not a popular top 10 pick but i think he could produce like one. I'd take White in the red zone all day over any WR in the draft.

There will be plenty of good ones available in the draft for us.. would be cheaper to take that route with our other needs, particularly at O-line, which without that no RB will be productive even Murray.

Our coaching staff trolled us because this is so obvious stevie wonder could see it. Should we have flew planes over practice with game plans and strategies on them? I mean they were supposed to be professionals i don't get how it couldnt work out still but glad it's not our issue anymore
