If the Jets are signing a former Patriot I vote Koppen.

He was pretty trash outside of NE, product of their system.

Branch is old and not that talented. He had chemistry with Brady, that's why he had a job, not because he is a great receiver.

When are these ''sign this has been WR threads'' going to stop?

When folks are finally comfortable with the Wr's on the roster. Clearly, that's not the case. I'm not sure it's really that important since we're running the Ground and Punt anyways.

I'm surprised that Branch lasted this long in the pre-season. Nothing but affection for what he did in his prime but the only reason he did at all well last year was because he and Brady had worked together for so long.

The first time Branch left the Pats he was younger and couldn't accomplish anything. Now he's leaving the Pats again much older & Jets should consider him? Just based on his first experience when leaving New England, how can anybody see him as more than a by-product of the system??

He's smart and has good (but not great) hands, but he's painfully slow and short.

Honestly, if Gaffney gets healthy he would be a better asset to a team that needs to complete a lot of quick passes.

He did well in that role with the Redskins last year.
