You guys did well run blocking but in pass protection there was problems if I remember correctly. Similar problems to the Jets this season with one guy making everyone look really bad. If we sign Columbo it would be because we are playing with 6 people on the line and him and Hunter would play one position.

Sure why even bother with this season? the Jets didn't sign the random OC/OL coach you were hoping for and now everyone is panicking b/c an OPPOSING FAN said that Deguglielmo stinks. What do you expect them to say? No matter how diplomatic they sound,They're here for one reason and one reason only: To pounce on the Jets and Jet fans which they haven't been able to do for 2 years. Did you really expect a Dolphin fan to have rave reviews for his former OL coach who is now coming to the Jets?

I absolutely hated the zone blocking schemes. Specially when Schotty was designing 90% of the runs somewhere up the middle, and the RB would spend 2 seconds dancing in the backfield waiting for a "zone" to open up. Looking forward to line up and punch you in the face football rather than this namby pamby BS. Let's run some power sweeps, traps off tackles and pull our guards and center and knock people back before they knock us back. Quit hitter run plays. And oh yes, maybe we can max protect for our young QB every once in awhile..oh yes that would make sense.
I really don't care what any Dolphin fan says about these coaches. I can make my own assessment. I just can't get excited about these guys. You can complain all you want about the coaches we had, but we made it to the AFCC game 2 years in a row with those guys and their schemes. We replaced them with coaches who have been 7-9, 7-9, and 6-10 in the last 3 years and the O was pretty bad those 3 years.
