Unlike MLB where teams will actually offer up pretty accurate reports on the progress of their injured players (The Yankees recent reports on their Japanese pitcher, Tanaka, is a good recent example of baseball's comparative reporting transparency compared to football's) the absence of any reliable activity reports coming from NFL teams makes it so difficult if not impossible to gauge how injured Milliner was in the first place and how far along he is in his recovery. Teams are so tight-lipped and reluctant , if not altogether unwilling to provide any details on the status of their injured players, and more often than not just throw handfuls of patronizing pixie-dust statements liberally spinkled with empty, optimistic coach speak frequently with laced with colorless, blatant misdirection (BB).
Milliner is a talented player with a 3 year maturation level...let him heal, take the lumps. He makes great physically talented plays, you've seen it...but his ability to getthe fact that he's no longer a superior athlete but an equal takes time. Mevi$ knew it bc he had NFL bloodlines, and adjusted day one.Milliner needs time. rushing him on the field hurts the player . See, Smith, Geno.
