Milliner has been nothing short of atrocious, and shown no signs that he will ever be good. This is a fact. It seems he will have to magically learn how to play football this offseason if he ever has a chance to be decent.
A poster said Milliner wasn't an elite athlete, i proved him wrong. Never said he was just as good of an athlete as Peterson just that he is an amazing athlete in his own right.
Why are people mentioning Patrick Peterson? He is very overrated, dude gives up TDs all the time. And Kyle Wilson has stepped it up, I'm happy for the guy
No, he said that Peterson might be the best athlete in the NFL (and implied that Milliner was significantly less athletic). Your post didn't prove him wrong about either player.
Milliner is awful. I mean, he's really, really, really bad. I thought it made sense when we let Revis go and drafted a CB in the first round. But now I'm starting to think that we should have just given Revis whatever amount of $ he wanted.
Thought he was extremely overrated coming out. If anything I think the biggest issue is Rex starting him. He clearly isn't ready for significant playing time. Let him play situationally & on special teams till he starts to get it. He does have talent.
Kyle Wilsons only bad game this year was first game against Buffalo. He should be starting this year actually.
Milliner might be the worst player in the league right now. Useless. I would cut him after next year at this rate. Give him a year on special teams. See if he can cover kicks or block them or something.
Well, Rex has never been that great of a talent evaluator. Not to mention, even when said player is clearly showing how bad they are, he continues to leave them in.....
Rookie CBs go through their ups and downs. Milliner isn't that great now, but I think he'll be good eventually. Even though this game he gave up a lot of yardage, he had a few nice plays which shows at least some promise/improvement.
I don't think there's anything wrong w/ the kid talent wise. He has length, feet, hips & speed. His issues are maturity & mental. He's clearly playing tentative, misaligning, & not finishing. Some of that only gets better by playing time..which is why I think Rex is sticking w/ him..but the misalignment & not playing physical is another story.
