He'll be motivated now, they'll get the trying Randy. When he tries I'm not sure there has ever been a better WR.

They've been in win-now mode since they acquired Favre, so they don't want to start rebuilding. I guess they figure that if they win a Super Bowl with an over-the-hill QB-WR tandem, it'll buy the FO a few years.

WHY BILL, WHY? WHY NOW? Going to the Vikings Pats halloween game is going to be really weird now. This makes no sense unless the Pats turn these picks around for a player this season.

    Partly.

He's also now got an open need in a place where we will have to big time FA's this year.

It doesn't matter if we all know they are going to trade down with those picks anyway

yea but this year there will be a rookie scale so their cheap asses might actually trade up for some players

the pats having that many picks is very scary for the future ... the pats in the present are not so scary, tho

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats package a deal around Vinny Jackson.

Yeah, this was brought up yesterday. I don't think the Pats want to pay him, but it's possible that's their thinking.

At least he's a mishap away from watching a season on his couch. I doubt it happens, though.

if the pats trade moss because he was unhappy with his contract why trade for a guy who is holding out because of his contract and wants big money? The Pats don't pay big money and no way his agents will allow him to take a reduction from any other offer that has been on the table up til now.

As for Monday i would line up Cro on Moss since he will be limited in his offensive knowledge and will be a deep guy...limited in real intricate patterns. Let Cro with him, put revis on Harvin, and get after Farve. The guy is making mistakes in every game so I expect more INTs this week.

Its got to be what they're thinking.

He is the perfect fit for them.

I said this back when DR was still holding out. VJ will be in NE for next year..
