No, Costello reported they had repeated inquiries on Evans and Adams. Costello cited "A source said the Jets did talk to the Vikings about Cleveland but felt he was not a good fit for their style of play." Douglas did not get into specifics.
i'll go back and watch the JD interview and see. The way it was written made it seem like it was quotes from JD
No GM is going to state specifics…I wouldn’t expect JD or any other GM to name specific players that we wanted to get and failed to get or wanted to trade and failed to trade. At least not any halfway decent GM…you just never show your cards.
