Sorry guy you are way, way over estimating him & as I said he was NOT nor will ever be worth the 4th overall pick in the draft
CHAMPIONJETS69 IS NOW 0-5 IN BRINGING A CHAMPIONSHIP TO THE NY/NJ/CT METRO AREA SINCE JOINING THEGANGGREEN.COM
Ah U have to do better then that since you stole that from another poster on the site. Also, if you believe that well then at least to me U R way, way, way sillier then I ever thought
I think if we draft a great offensive guard named D'Mortar and put him next to D'Brick, that would help make a solid foundation.
Ah Ha so U R into constuction material as way to improve the NYJs while others R into the super natural to improve them. Why not just get quality players with coaching & support from the owner that is usually a pretty good winning combination?
Actually, it is strickly my not so great humor. I do want to see this team get better and certainly want them to put this current quagmire behind them. It has been a tough 40 years. While there has definitely been some bad, it hasn't been all bad. Better days are coming; just not this year and I do not have a crystal ball for next year. Our deficiencies are very clear and should be clear to the Jets organization. We will know if they really get it when FA opens up and they really go shoppng. If we do not land 1 decent offensive lineman (OG) in FA and do very little, like this year, we have signed for another season next year like this one.
Well I knew U were joking which is why I posted what I posted. Sorry to say my crystal ball which is very clear is blinking at some years into the future when we will be competive again because of all the upgrading that must be done sorry to say. OL is just one piece of the puzzle. My suggestion is spend your time on other things since this will be a long haul project not a snap turnaround
Why not just run and pass for more touchdowns than the other team each week? That usually is a pretty good winning combination.
Yes but U have to have the players to do what you suggested. Always in the end it comes down to good players & quality coaching both at the present moment except for a few players we are devoid of
Talk about your pots and kettles. I can't believe I missed this thread. Or maybe I regret having stumbled on it afterall. Whatever. :breakdance:
It sucks having to read silly post after silly post, doesn't it? Now you know how we all feel reading all of yours
It's like a car crash. You don't want to stop and look, but you just have to drive slowly by to see what happened. It's the same with champ's posts. You know they'll be worthless and meaningless, and devoid of any actual logic or facts, but you read them because you want to see what new drivel he's come up with.
So you think my posts from before the season started that we were crapper bound were worthless now. That post on making money was also worthless? Maybe you have to upgrade your thinking & then maybe we can have a worthwhile conversation & the same goes for jetzz as well. While your pocketbook is lighter mine is getting fatter cause my recommendation is still on the upswing. Now what do U have to offer to compete that?
Please people. We have been through this for years with Champ. This is the season of his dreams. He thrives when the Jets stink and we get an entire season and offseason of "I told you sos." As for his analysis of the Jets and their players, it is just a bunch of crap. Champ has not analyzed anything. For years he has been spewing the same mantra over and over about how the players, the coaches, the front office, and the ownership all stink. When you ask for specifics, you get nothing. There are no names in his posts. Please notice he has not mentioned which Jet players are worth keeping or will likely be around in 2011 or whenever. He is incapable of analysis. If you press him for his "plan" for success, he will give his usual cop out and dodge and say that it is up to Tannenbaum. He is not a maven or a mavin or whatever he wants to call it. He will say the Jets need to hit "grand slams" in the draft, but even though it is clear that the Jets will be drafting in the top 5 in April, he won't name one name that he thinks the Jets should draft. His plan is to just say everything stinks, count from 1969 to the present and say the Jets are a failure. The only name I have heard him say in 5 years of posting is that the Jets should get Billick as their HC. Now that Billick is about to be fired for ineptitude, I would assume Champ will be saying that the Jets should hire him. He has also been a fan of Gruden, who hasn't made the playoffs in years. I don't think he knows any NFL coordinators and probably doesn't know half the head coaches in the league. If he were the maven he professed to me, he would share his analysis of the Jets current roster, tell us who is worth keeping and who is not and provide some information on each player. Instead, you'll get some blanket statement about the entire roster needing to be turned around with some good words about a player or two - my guess is Mangold. Rhodes, Harris, and Revis. That's about it. Good luck.
