He's got a rotten head of lettuce in the refrigerator at home. He hits himself about the head with said lettuce repeatedly, one strike more violent than the next. The magic number coincides with how many strikes to the head it takes before he falls to the floor, face-first in the water dish of his trusted mongrel, VilmaDog...
Well if U cannot figure it then U surely R not a FB mavin. Just take ALL the players we have to change out to be a competive team & voila you have the answer. To my way off thinking a very, very easy deduction to make. Also please remember that is based on us hitting grand slam HRs with each & every draft choice we secure between now & then or you have to move the clock back even further
I'm too lazy to search for it but I did an analysis of what happened to teams after they fell off a cliff one season, winning either 3 or 4 games or less (can't remember which) and they averaged 4.5 seasons before their next playoff berth. It was probably in response to a Raiderjeaux post after the Raiders flatlined last season.
It's way too early to be looking at that. What we've seen so far suggests that D'Brick will be a decent LT when he's got some help to the right of him. The metabolism thing is probably going to help also, because he'll put on pounds as he gets into his mid-20's.
I am a football fan, I never claimed to be a football mavin. I am just wondering how 2011 became the magic number and you said you did an analysis of all our players to come to that conclusion. I would like to be a football mavin such as yourself that is why I was hoping you would share your brilliant analysis with us so us nobodies can learn from you.
I would like to see that, were you researching the last 10 years? 20 years? Recent history tells me that teams go from bad to playoff contention in one offseason. Just last year the Saints and Jets went from 4 wins or less to the playoffs, the Lions have a shot at the playoffs this year after a 3 win season last year, the Browns and Redskins are in contention this year after 4 and 5 win seasons. I have no idea how long it is going to take for the Jets to become competitive again, it could be next year, it could be 2011, it could be never. Only time will tell.
Like others have said, if he had a real LG next to him he would be fine. He doesn't get beat nearly as much as last year, so if he can improve with a downgrade at the guard position he should do real well if they can find someone decent to play next to him. Its hard enough to be a LT let alone having to worry about the guy next to you doing his job.
Oh boy, we're not going to start this again are we? You did not give me the answers to my question again.. I'm asking for how you specifically came up with 2011 as the magic number? Why would it be so difficult to answer my questions if you did an analysis like you said you did?
See here is the answer from that post. Guess what I said about eyes & ears not being opened is another of your problems besides not being able to evulate FB properly Well if U cannot figure it then U surely R not a FB mavin. Just take ALL the players we have to change out to be a competive team & voila you have the answer. To my way off thinking a very, very easy deduction to make.
His analysis is easy to understand. He takes the coward's way out by thinking everyone on the team sucks. Then he doesn't have to justify anything else. Do you really expect him to go out on a limb and provide an actual clear thought and plan about what leads him to think 2011? It takes a lot less energy and passion to go into a season saying "we suck" than to cheer on your team.
Hey remember if the NYJs want to employ 3rd tier players or lower that is not my fault but the fault of Woody, Man & Tan. All I am doing is telling U the FACTs which our record certainly proves I was correct all last all season + during the regular season as well. Sorry to say U R another one whose eyes & ears are always closed to my insightful posts
That didn't answer my question specifically, I'm asking you, the football mavin, what players did YOU replace in YOUR analysis and HOW and WHEN were they replaced to come up with 2011?
Cmon now I am sure U know who needs replacing & my estimate it will take to 2011 to get the job done IF we hit grand slam HRs with each & every player & draft pick. Just look ahead & see who will not be here by then due to age, factor in all the garbage players & then U will know. Look that is MHO if U have another fine & dandy we will see as time goes by who is more correct in there evulation of our future.
I'll take this to mean that you did not do an analysis of our players to come up with 2011 and you are just spewing your nonsense as usual. I guess I will need to find another football mavin to learn from.
Your posting abilities truly suck. I mean, not just that they suck, but that really suck, sweaty, hairy yak balls. You can't give backup to anything posted, other than to say, "I said it before, go find it." Here's the thing- if you're so confident in your position, educate the rest of us, the misinformed, as to all that ails this team. Assume that we weren't online on the date that you posted your tell-all tale of what ails the Jets, and how to fix it. Enlighten us with your knowledge, and give us a step by step breakdown as to exactly what the "Chump Master Plan 2008" would be, so as to ensure that we don't have to wait until that terrible date in 2011.
You'll never answer because you're a coward and a liar because it's obvious you didn't do any other analysis other than to say "our players suck". You sir are a fraud.
