Say . . . Hobson, perhaps? The only reason he's at OLB is because we don't have anyone else. All we need is a true rush (Strongside) OLB and we can slide our LBs around. Thomas to weakside, Hobson to inside alongside Harris.

Unless someone thinks David Bowens is up to the task. Heh. Bowens.

I wouldn't complain with Hobson playing inside along with Harris. I actually like Hobson, and don't think he's been utilized properly since he's gotten here.

Thomas was good at WOLB last year, too. He just isn't doing well at SOLB this year. Hobson has been great in the run game at both positions and just doesn't seem to be a natural pass-rusher, which would make him ideal for the other ILB position. He's not bad in zone coverage, either.

I truly think that we are a strong-side pass rusher away from being a good defense. I've also come to the conclusion that with more physical linebackers, the whole penetrating NT thing that Mangini has going (he has repeatedly stated that he wants a smaller NT like Robertson, and we know it isn't just media b.s. as proven by his forcing of Pouha to get smaller and quicker) can work very well.
