33rd in the league among CB’s not including the starters who are all on rookie contracts still. Not outright arguing with your point, just saying he’s the 33rd best paid verteran, so including rookie contracts drops him significantly lower if your really doing a ranking. There are also some unpaid FA CB’s who may well get more.
Point is $6 mill per year isn’t bad for a guy who is decent and can switch positions if absolutely necessary.
Did you watch him play safety? Abysmal. If he plays safety again we might as well just play with 10 guys on the field.
Looks like a one year tryout to me. If he can’t hold down the 2cb position he probably won’t be around to collect that roster bonus next year
I’ll let you know my thoughts on that when I go back and watch again. My wife an I had our first child mid season so this has been my first chance to really pay attention again.
