Lets remember. The Jets provided no pass rush.

Toasted? Come on. He played a great game and got beaten by Antonio Gates who is much bigger than him on a perfectly thrown ball. Nothing he could do there. Lowery is going to be a star very soon.

I don't think so. Lowery has those 2 spectacular deflections early in the game. Even Jaws commented he looked like a seasoned veteran on those 2 plays. He got beat a couple of times, but he is still a rookie. But he has had 3 excellent games and is only going to get better.

You really need to watch the games more closely. Lowery, a quick but undersized corner, was covering one of the biggest and most dominant receiving TEs in the game and did get burnt a few times. But if you think he got burnt all game, you need to watch the entire game and not just the highlights.

Revis is so good already teams don't even throw at him. Lowery is going to be very good, like any rookie he will get beat but he's got the ability to be top notch.

I had a feeling about Revis when Brady wasn't testing him while he was on Moss in his very first game in the NFL. He's just so damn good.

For the first time probably ever, our secondary seems to be the strength of the defense. We keep getting killed underneath on slants and guys out of the backfield. Lowrey got burnt on one play, but for a game like that he did well, especialy for his third NFL game. Certainly not a Vance Joseph outing by any stretch.

Revis was incredible all game. You have to expect that Lowery is going to make mistakes. He is a rookie and we have asked an awful lot out of him. He has for the most part stepped up to the plate and done a fine job.

It will be fascinating watching him develop over the years into a premier cb.

Watch that game and tell me who was covering him on those plays. Only one was Revis.

    You too, smartass.

If not for the first diflection, the Chargers score a TD instead of the FG. Kudos to Lowery for that play. Honestly though, he got burned when the game was put away, he fell asleep thinking they were going to run-run-run and they went deep, he learned his lesson and he will improve because of it. That's a positive in my book.

I don't know how someone could say Lowery got burned all game long. He made some very good plays.

why did my Revis thread get turned into a Lower debate?? Fuck all of you.

The kid is a rookie and you want to him be Champ Bailey?

    Focus on Revis.

Great game by Revis. No doubt about it.

I don't agree with this. I thought he had great position on the Gates TD and was just outsized on the Jackson catch that sealed the game for SD. Overall I thought he played another very solid game.

But in the second game Moss was completely shut down. So was Brady (140 yards passing).

It helped that the game was in the wind, snow and sleet.

Gates has burned many a CB... I don't fault Lawery on the Gates TD, that was a perfect throw and a perfect job by gates to not extend his arms until the very last second. Very difficult to defend.

The V. Jackson was his fault however, he should not have bit on the double move with no safety help... oh well, live and learn. I think the guy has a ton of talent and will be a great player for us down the road.
