The start of the game looked like the same old stuff. Penalties, Bills receivers wide open, and settling for field goals. I saw a spark when Jenkins jumped offsides. He looked pissed! He was sure that he was drawn and he was a monster the rest of the way! A later replay showed the center moving the ball. Maybe that's what happened when he jumped! Another turning point was when Mangini used the red flag to get the twelve-men-on the field penalty. The refs weren't paying attention until then. It seemed like we dominated after that!
If you told me in August that we'd be here, with a 2-1 division record and Brady out of the way for the season, I think we'd have all signed up for it and taken our chances.
NE has a solid roster top to bottom, and they've gone 5-3 with Cassel so far, and that's a "gimme?" Give me a break. You know ... I would like anyone who keeps harping on us "losign a game we should have won" to please give me a list of the five AFC teams besides the Titans that will make the playoffs and have also not done the exact same thing, "lost games they should have won" Pats lost to the Phins at home by four TDs Bills lose to Cardinals by four TDs Chargers lose to Dolphins, Broncos, Bills, Saints, Panthers Broncos lost big to Chiefs Dolphins lose to Texans, Cardinals I think I've covered every team in the AFC that doesn't have a losign record, except Titans, Steelers, Colts, Ravens. Those are the only four AFC teams with a shot at postseason that I can think of that didn't flub at least once already. Now, you can say Raiders loss was worse than any of those (except Broncos'?), but hat loss went into OT, it wasn't a 4 TD blowout. I guess I'm just saying please try to keep some perspective. It's extremely rare that a team does not get upset at least twice a season. So don't make a federal case out of it, please.
Some Jet fans think we're the only ones who blow games and do stupid things. There's a reason most of the league finishes between 7-9 and 9-7.
