There is a difference between valid criticism, like what you are mentioning, and darksider comments like Favre was a mistake, Coles is a punk, etc. I'm pointing out the excesses not valid criticism. I agree that you can't just go into a prevent defense 100% of the downs on that final drive, they should have mixed it up. Of course if Lowery makes the interception we wouldn't be talking about this right now.

This team still hasn't made the playoffs and still hasn't won shit. As good as this win is they still lost to a disgrace of a team in Oakland and to me that is INFUCKINGEXCUSABLE. Save all your sticking peoples noses in shit until the Jets actually win something other than a division game.
People just can't understand that this team was totally remade in the off season. Favre was brought in very late. It takes TIME to jell. They are finally doing that and we are now on a streak. The Oakland loss was understandable given that context. Of course it takes an intelligent person to actually be able to grasp that concept! This is like 1969 because Namath had some early losses due to him throwing 5 interceptions in 2 losses. He became more conservative and the rest is history. The same thing is happening with Favre and the Jets in 2009. I'm extremely confident that we WILL win the Super Bowl!

It's just as ridiculous to be going around talking Super Bowl after this win as it is to be pointing out the darksiders incessant negativity. They are shut up for the moment so let them stay that way. Temper that garbage for now. Was it a great win....HELL YEAH IT WAS. All the win gives them for now is the inside track on the division and a home playoff game for the moment. They have clinched nothing yet. There are 6 games left and a loss to TN next week and this team is tied for 1st place again with either MIA or NE. There is a long way to go and anything can happen. Injuries, slumps, etc so just keep an even keel.

The problem is they aren't COMPLETELY WRONG! as you put it. The Jets beat the Pats, that doesn't give them the direct path to a Super Bowl. The Dolphins beat the Pats as did the Chargers. The Chargers kicked our asses albiet very early in the season in a game they weren't going to lose. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but you starting a thread that's both premature and pointless is ridiculous. Again you've failed to answer the question that I asked of you.
I never said they were completely wrong, even you aren't completely wrong, close but not completely wrong! I just point out when they are wrong and ridiculous at the same time. Let me say this really slow so you can comprehend the concept. It keeps everyone honest and hopefully one day we won't get extreme over reactions every time we lose a game. A fair and balanced approach would be a refreshing change for this message board.
