Dante Fowler, Jr traded to Rams

Discussion in 'National Football League' started by macbk, Aug 21, 2018.

  1. Night life & bright lights might not be his problem. Anywhere away from his boys,ex’s & demons is a plus. Hes pretty much never been in that position his entire football career.

Based on some posters comments in this thread, methinks they have been partaking of too much Boone's Farm and weed.

I'm pretty sure being a hotheaded A-hole has been his problem...... but it could be from shitty fruity flavored "wine"

I'll propose an alternate hypothesis. Macc really wants Mack but the Raiders are asking for a lot in return so he leaks to the media that he "inquired" about Fowler. Why? Maybe it will cause the Raiders to flinch and lower their demands.

Or maybe he's legitimately interested in Fowler for the right price (ie. 5th round pick).

Its all conjecture right now and based on an article by Manish. Think about that for a second.

Naaa Boone's farm and weed is a Long Island right of passage.
Florida is more Flacca and eating random people's faces.

No chance. There's just no chance that the Raiders are trading him for anything less than "their price" if they're even going to trade him. 1st round pick +

Offer that to Fowler, and he'll ink an extension right quick.

    Good post.
It did cross my mind that this public display of interest could be a red herring for a certain Vegas bound team asking for too much.
Thought I was just being paranoid due to the weed and wine tho o_O

Landing Mack would be so much better on every level, even if it costs more.

There is a very recent example of a player who wasn't "In Line." I'm sure you know what I'm talking about (pun intended). I do agree the culture is shifting a bit more toward a professional organization but we are not there yet IMO.

You have multiple option when you're on offense .. not just three step drops. You can run misdirection plays, have him roll out of the pocket along with a number of other options to minimize the faults of a poor offense line. On offense you dictate the tempo.. on defense you are forced to react.

I'm not saying the O-Line doesn't need to be addressed just that the lack of a pass rush will negate the one real strength of the team and is a more glaring need for an upgrade.

I was stealing my dad's car at night.
Would push it out of the garage before starting it up and driving away.
Got busted though. One night it was on E and I filled it up. He went for gas in the morning and the car was full.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't!!!

starts is a pointless stat. he played in like 80% of the snaps for jax. doens't matter if he played the 1st snap or not. i never said he wasn't a head case. marshall was a head case and we took him on and he did great for us. same with holmes and edwards. we need a rusher and he had 8 sacks last year and 2 in the playoffs as well for jax and right now our other starting OLB is josh martin. do u think martin would start over fowler?

change doens't happen overnight. we have a lot of strong leaders with good character now and got rid of most of the problem children. it's really just robbie at this point. which is surprising for such a young team

I've been following this team far too long to let a few months of drama free behavior (and there hasn't even been that) influence my opinion on a culture shift... I mean the team did just get into a bawl during practice a little more than a week ago. You just don't see that kinda shit happening from the teams that are considered in line.

not picking on you but if you guys that are talking about : bad guys" think there is a single team in the NFL that doesnt have at least a handful of these guys, youre nuts. You think teh NFL draft pool is filled with angels?
