Hack grew up 10 minutes from where I live, great to see him in the NFL, even better to see him on the Jets. No idea how he was ever a 1st rd prospect and eventually drafted in the 2nd.

    Sorry guys.

Just not fair.. Teams like the cowboys can find these guys and long suffering teams like the Jets can't develop QBs over decades

There is something karmic going on. I don't know what it is, but my guess is that Namath sold his soul to the Devil along with the luck of the jets franchise in order to win SBIII. Our punishment is to continually hope, only to have those hopes crushed like an ant underfoot.

There is one redeeming thing in all of this: we aren't Detroit Lions fans!

I doubt it's a coincidence. Jerry Jones may be a buffoon, but he's a buffoon with the deepest pockets in the league, owning the most popular team in the league.

The year the Cowboys went to the playoffs and looked like they might make some noise (Dez Bryant non catch), while they did play well, they got a really nice treatment from refs.

That was the season following the off-season story where Dean Blandino, NFL VP of Officiating, came stumbling off Jerry's Bimbo Bus and stumbled into a club.

The Cowboys prior to about 5 years ago couldn't find their asshole in the dark with a flashlight when it came to the NFL draft. Then, like someone flipped a switch, they started drafting better than Ozzie Newsome.

There are no-tampering rules set up by the league so no team has more access to players than any other team, and the Deion-Dez situation that got Dez kicked off OK State is evidence that Jerry sends his ambassadors scouting players illegally.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Jerrah was still skating the rules and the other power players in the room turned a blind eye for favors and some of the same treatment.

Dak did fall to the 4th, and I doubt the Cowboys knew exactly what they were getting when they drafted him, but I'm betting the farm that they knew more about him than any other team.

Hackenburg has a chance to be the backup with Geno gone and Petty not ready. Why not start him?

your theory makes sense with Dez Bryant because he got kicked out of school. But I don't see it with Dak Prescott.

Prescott was a 3 year starter, 4 year letterman in the SEC, the most visible conference in the land. Everyone from the NFL scouts to the people sitting at home on the couch could watch every single play of Prescott's college career and even a lot of his practices.. spring game, exhibitions, senior bowl, combine, etc. If the cowgirls knew more about him than any other team they were simply doing their homework.

Game film doesn't tell you a whole lot about someone's personal life or what type of personality they have.

But having dinner at Deion's house could.

With all this being said, do you start Romo when he's healthy or roll with the rook?

You keep the rookie playing and never look back. Is that even under debate?

The current efficiency and production of the Cowboys offense is on pace with the 2014 Cowboys offense.

The Cowboys are on top of a division that doesn't even have a team below .500

With a rookie QB and a rookie RB.

    There is no argument.

At the very least Dak should be Rookie of the Year. If he wins MVP and takes the Cowboys to a Super Bowl this thread will explode.

If you're the HC of the NYJ's, you start Romo because he gives you the best chance to win.

Guy, you have been running around the forum bumping old Dak Prescott threads trying to bring attention to yourself.

Give it a break, Daks success has been spoken about for quite some time now.

He is in the perfect situation for any rookie QB to be brought into.

Never understood the thinking behind some fans of other teams, what makes you decide to get up in the morning and head to the message board of a team in a completely different conference and start bumping threads.
Not to mention the fact he signed up in 2009 just to talk about the Cowboys new stadium.
