Romo really needs to think carefully about whether he should stay in the NFL quarterbacking business. One of these times he might end up in a wheelchair, or worse.

It will be interesting to see a 4th round pick QB START for the Cowboys, while a 2nd round pick QB gets red shirted by the Jets. However, you really can't judge or evaluate the decisions until both Prescott and Hackenberg are deep into their pro careers.

The problem with this is that history suggests that by the bye week he would be hurt and not the starter at all. As I said in this thread back in August, Romo really needs to decide whether he should even be in the NFL quarterbacking business, if he hopes to have a normal life when it's over.

I'm beginning to wonder if he's going to sit this whole season. No emergency if the teams winning. Take the time and really let his body heal up. Might be what he needs

Romo will be 37 and his back will be taped up and hanging by a thread. I certainly cant count on him being a renaissance man. It would be hilarious if we get him and he finds success though.

It will be a travesty if Jerruh has his way and replaces Dak Prescott with Romo. The Cowboys are rolling. They are going to win the division with Prescott. If Romo comes in it will split the locker room and they will likely choke in the end.

The Cowboys FO have been getting pretty good at letting Jerry flap his gums and then doing the right thing, but Garrett is the faithful lapdog and will probably pull Dak for Romo.

At least I hope - I love the taste of Cowboys fan tears.

I feel the same about the Cowboy fans tears, this year might be different though. That run game looks strong, I hope they pull Dak because with Romo back they will abandon the run and go back to being a pass first team and the interceptions and losses will mount for Romo.

Then I will be in my happy place with regards to the cowboys again.

As with most of our 2nd round picks, I scratch my head as to why we had to take Hack in the 2nd round. Talk about falling in love with a guy. They should have waited until the 3rd or 4th round to take him and even if he was gone by then, oh well take another QB and move on. Hack could really prove me wrong, but I think that was far and away the worst pick my Mac so far. Hack looks to me like hes a million years from looking decent.

Hack is no Dak, that's for sure.
