Yea, looks like of the 14 picks Tangini have made in the draft, only 2, Schelgal and Titus Adams are not still on the 53 man roster. I'll take the 86% draft pick success rate!
With all those TE's, could we be moving towards using a 2 TE set in order to help the Offensive line?
Your're alot closer to right then wrong. I can see the offense running Baker and Ryan; Baker and Pocsiak; or Ryan and Pocsiak as the 2 TE set depending on the type of play. Coles and Cotch are good enough for their to a be a 2 WR set most of the time, looking at the I-back or pro-set offense. or Singleback with TJ or Leon, 2 TE set w/ 3 WR and Schotty's playcalling will be a bitch to defend against.... As long as Chad doesn't make bad throws.
It appears the roster as far as O is made for CP. Expect dink and dunk with that many TE and FBs. The final roster will change till NE kickoff and baring injuries it may change again. I hope this final roster doesn't blowup in the CS faces if penny goes down one final time. I wanted to go G RT DT WR before the draft, we will see how it goes.
I'm very surprised that Ware was cut, too. I was very impressed with him this preseason and I think the Jets will regret that move. He will be on an NFL squad this season. It seems that there is always player who is cut that surprises me every year. Ware is the cut this year.
I doubt all 4 tight ends will be on the 53 man roster come next week. It's possible but I'm sure Tannenbaum is going to be making some more moves.

Tanny was clear on Thursday night that they were looking at Stacey Tutt carrying the ball to see if he can be the 3rd RB as well as # 2FB. I am sure they are expecting Tutt to be the the #3.
The roster will change after week one when teams can sign vested veterans and not have their current year salary be be guaranteed. After week one, look for them to drop players and pick up veterans. It happens every year, this year will not be an exception.
