not too shabby...but not great...why cant Qb's be a little more athletic and faster though?? its not that hard
Omar Jacobs is the guy I've wanted all along...Draft Brick in the 1st and pick up Omar in the 2nd, how beautiful would that be
Because the probably dont train on 40 time technique.becuase its not that big of a deal. if you seen cutler play he field speed is faster than 4.7 is this saying he is vick ,mcnabb types hell no. but a 4.6 is more his speed
however not being able to train yourself for speed is very odd...i know they are QB's but its i find it puzzling that the general of the field happens to be slower then half of his linemen who happen to be a significant 100lbs heavier...(with the exception of faster QB's) i just think that QB's should train for speed as well to make them more rounded...especially the slow white QB's...HAHA:rofl:
Agreed, I think they are hoping Cutler falls to 4 and some team will offer up a few picks to move up. Hopefully we can drop down a few picks and still get Mario Williams.
I would trade for SCHAUB and draft either BRICK or Super Mario. Take OMAR JACOBS in rd 3. There are tons of great and very good OLmen. We will be fine! CUTLER is overhyped but he dd run well and threw a 60 MPH fast ball! Croyle threw it 57 MPH though!
i'm still up in the air about this guy. i get this "browning nagle" feeling from him...then again...he could also turn into the next favre.
Croyle is who I want in the 2nd round. Trade down in the first and grab a RB or OL and draft Croyle in the 2nd. He will be a very good Qb barring injury...
Sickening! Croyle would be a much better 2nd round pick and Brick is not even the best OT at the combines. Brick is just another Mike Williams. An over hyped, rookie OT that hasn't proven he will be an NFL OT but will want all the money. NO OT is worth $6 million a year, just ask the BIlls. Winston has been in the top three at every test and trial, and would cost a third of the money Brick would.
Cutler did awsome. I just got done watching ESPN and he did great the jets will take him or croyle for a QB in the 06 draft and they wont take a RB
You didn't watch the entire combine then. He got 2 throws at each thing. Almost every time, 1 throw was good and the other was bad. Jacobs was very impressive, but I think with those mechanics, it could be a problem for him in the NFL. They scared me away. Croyle was impressive to me, but I didn't realize he didn't have a very good arm. Cutler definitely has a strong arm (on the out routes, he was the only one I saw able to throw them on a complete line, where the ball never got above where he released it from). That part was impressive. The accuracy was not.
You're not comparing D'Brick to Pace or Ogden are you? Thats like comparing a 18 wheeler to a Toyota pick up.
