I hadn't noticed it, but I saw someone mention it on Twitter and laughed. I'd never want to see him out there as a serious receiver. If last night's failure to come out of that mixup with the ball wasn't enough to convince you, I don't know what to tell you.

^IDK how people are blaming Cro for that Austin play. If you're going to blame him for anything, blame him for getting burned. Austin made an incredible play to get his hands on the ball, and he never got it away from Cro. It's just a weird rule that dual possession goes to the receiver.

    Team managment/player/edit/ change position.

Had holmes get a 8 week injury and used Cro to fill the spot. Worked
    alot better then i thought.

You mean, except when he took it out of Cro's hands on the ground, at which point the zebra called it a TD?

I could be wrong, but I think that stupid rule was put into place because of a couple of questionable interception rulings that went against the Jets when they played Green Bay last season.

or at least establishing the threat of it, stupidly. The second I saw him lining up on the outside said to myself..."great now for a tricky running play that looks like a tricky running play". It is relatively important to scream out your intentions to opposing defenses with startling honesty after all.

We haven't beat the Jags since 2003. We've played them 3 times since then in 2005, 2006 and 2009 and lost every one and my personal favorite was in 2006, a lovely 41-0 beat down.

Cro would be terrible at receiver. There's a ridiculous amount of athletic WRs that end up being junk.

Totally agree. He had perfect coverage and he had the ball. Austin was just stronger.

And they have way too much money invested in him to let him run back kicks. Where is Kerley? In his presser yesterday Ryan said it will be Cromartie or McKnight returning kickoffs and Kerley on punts. Seems to me Kerley is the fastest of the three.

I didn't see it, but I could see him playing a wide receiver also.

Who cares what happened then. You aren't seriously worrying about losing to them, are you? The same Jags that barely held on to beat the pathetic Titans? If we do we may as well fold up the tent and go home.

I still dont understand that call. On the one replay we saw, it looked to me that when Cromatie hit the ground, he had full possession. Wouldnt that be considered down by contact? At best Austin had no more than a hand on it. Are you allowed to grab for it after the receiver is down by contact on the ground?
