He had a big pick in the Green Bay finale in 2002, if I remember right. Either that or the 41-0 playoff game vs Indy the next week.

I never understood why we got rid of him, he was a big physical corner. The year Keyshawn was traded they used Coleman on a Hail Mary because they had no big WRs and he caught a TD.

He could have sealed this game here had he held on to a pick six right in his hands. This game still irritates me.

    The original Leon Washington.

    The Garnes pick was GB.

Marcus Coleman was an incredible athlete but a medicore corner. The only year he put it together was his contract year of '99.

'93 was just a frustrating year, they had so many chances to get to the playoffs and failed. The LA game was a week after the Eagle debacle.

I still can't believe that team blew a 21-0 lead and then a 17-0 lead the week after. only the jets...

And I believe the clock actually ran out on the Raiders. Vince Evans qb sneak should've never counted.

Yes, I think it stopped inside of :05 just long enough for the Raiders to get the play off before :00. I never did see or hear anything about why that happened, but it did happen.

You are correct and the league actually issued an apology to the Jets for screwing them but of course it was meaningless as it didn't change the outcome.

Teams had to expose five players to the 2002 expansion draft.

The Jets exposed Coleman, Shane Burton, Chris Hayes, Aaron Glenn, and Ryan Young.

The Jets wanted Houston to take the two cornerbacks and Young. The Texans did just that and the Jets saved $14 million.

It was a deal...that shhh was illegal. The Texans wanted Ryan Young. We told them we would put him out there if they took Glenn and Coleman.

It was a brilliant move or we would have been in cap hell and had no shot to win a division in 2002 thanks to the previous regime.

I remember that now. It was right after Coleman and Glenn were torched in that Oakland playoff game. Vinny had a decent game but we lost something like 38-24 on the Saturday night.

We weren't allowed to talk to the Texans to ask them to take certain players.
