He was responding to Barcs who made the stupid ass comment that the Jets have run the read option for the past 5-6 years.

    EDIT

If I was a betting man Kerley is the best read option QB currently on the roster and has been since we let Smith go and drafted him.

Waste of a 2nd round pick. Let him play big boy QB when he's ready to play it.

They better not do what Sparano did last year with Tebow! I felt I was getting trolled by Sparano week in and week out.

I don't think Rex loses any sleep over the possibility of 'getting fired', in fact he may even look forward to it at times.

There are at least 6-8 teams that would stab each other in the throat with an oyster shucker for the right to name him their new HC.

To be fair if you read the article the only reference to what Rex actually said is this:

It sounds like Rex is still clueless about the O. The only thing good about that is we have an OC this year who isn't clueless.

    Basically.

I said the same thing during Draft Week. He rarely ran in college and only did to escape rush.

    I love this quote:

“I know what everybody’s thinking if we did that: ‘Oh, didn’t we try that last year?’ ” Ryan said, alluding to the miscalculation with Tebow. “Certainly that’s a possibility... But we’ll let this thing work out and pan out, and we’ll see.”

Hopefully they'll just let Sanchez run his course. You might as well give him the starting job and let him try one more time without having to sit out plays to let Geno in. And once he blows it around week 8 or 9 they bring Geno in to close out the season.

I'm just curious, are you ever able to post something without personal insults?

I was under the impression that WC and read option were almost the same thing. I guess I was wrong. It doesn't justify being insulted by you every single time you respond to me.

Perhaps somebody could explain the differences. I thought that read option was a type of wildcat offense, but from what I've looked up it seems to be the opposite. I can't find much info on the big differences, except not all read option formations have just the QB and tailback behind the line.

It's difficult not to, but I was warned by a mod, so I can't do it anymore

So....you are always quick to reply to people and disagree by posting your LOL smilie. Yet, despite being a Jets fan through OTA's, minicamps, and regular seasons, you thought the Jets ran the read option? Maybe you should lose the smilie LOL's and not be so quick to criticize since you don't even know the read option has never been a portion of the Jets offense, huh?

    Yeah.

I'm quick to use smilies when alleged fans insult the players and coaches with slander and catch phrases rather than facts. Laughter is always the best medicine. I could call them childish names, but that never solves anything. I'm also always willing to admit when I'm wrong, unlike a lot of other people out there. I made a mistake with terminology. I've been associating read option with Wilcat. I believe I'm mixing it up with other option formations in wildcat. Can you and your all powerful wisdom, please explain to me the big differences. You don't have to write a paragraph, just a little something to give me a basic idea. Thanks. I'd like to know where my association mistake happened over the years haha.

   <---Those are for me. I can even laugh at myself when I fuck up.
