The episodes after the break haven't been all that good, sadly. I'm told the Law and Order one was funny but I missed that b/c of the draft. Guess I should go over to Hulu and watch it.
Community was picked up for half a season, and now moved to Fridays: http://tvline.com/2012/05/13/nbc-fall-tv-lineup-2012/ Also, Dan Harmon has not been signed to a contract to be the show runner for community next year. I don't think Harmon would walk away, but who knows. http://www.vulture.com/2012/05/harmon-isnt-signed-for-new-community-episodes.html
amazing so far. perfect "heist" spoof followed by a nice little star wars touch. "there is only wire" "i hope i'm right" part 2 begins now
#sixseasonsandamovie What an amazing finale. I might be caught up in the moment, but I thought that was ridiculously good. It could end on that note but also left things hanging. Very smart because when they made it, they didn't know their future. I hope Community gets a warning when their last episode will be so they can plan an appropriate finale
this makes no sense to me why Sony or NBC would want this. There are only 13 episodes left, let Harmon run the course. You threw the series to friday night anyways, let it be the orignal showrunner's view http://danharmon.tumblr.com/post/23339272200/hey-did-i-miss-anything
Bought seasons 1 and 2 on dvd for the low price of 30 bucks total. This is the best show on television right now for my money. Shame that they've been banished to friday night although the optimist in me is really hopeful that the fanbase follows. If they keep their core fanbase, and are able to score 3's on friday's leading into Grimm, then no matter what the new show-runners do, it'll get renewed even if they put out total shit. Of course, if they put out total shit, then the fanbase will crumble anyway...
 The pessimist in me says the 13 episodes ordered are the final 13 we get. Chuck was put in this position on Fridays and died. They also have a very vocal fanbase. With Dan Harmon and some important writers gone, I'm sure the episodes will be great but the series will be done after these 13. Also, the additional 13 puts them up for cable syndication I believe which is the $$$$ Sony/NBC wants
Big bump for this thread. The fate of Community (sadly) will come down to how poorly The Office and 30 Rock perform in the ratings.
Has it been discussed here that, despite its hiatus last year, Community still managed to win Best Comedy Series at the Critics' Choice Television Awards
Remedial Chaos Theory (the timeline episode) was nominated for an Emmy for writing I believe. Community's only emmy nod.
