I am glad 99% of the fans don't make football decisions for the team. They would have resigned Fitz for 15M and cut the backup who makes 1.5M a year Better to resign Fitz (when he comes to his senses) for 7M and keep his backup for 1.5M and keep Petty butt on the bench for another year of non - playing experince. I think a small percent of fans would be happy if Fitz is given 15 mil a year, most of us understand that one good year does not entitle a QB to a pay grade that belongs to an All Pro QB.
Fitz 100 times better than Geno. Fitz not worth more than 7 mil (per year) for a 1-2 year contract. We just can't tie more than that amount for a one year wonder. Fitz is pushing the limit of the fans. If he bombs out he will be more hated than Geno could ever be. It's getting to the point where I just want this bs to end one way or another.
I don't think Fitz really care if he wins or not. The reason I say this is....because if he would come down on his price I think Denver would sign him quick. He got to know by now he not going to get anything close to what he asking for.

No I can just see him sitting in his mansion with $15 million in the bank saying "yeah, I could do this, or I could come back, but there is no fucking way they are banking on that moron to lead that team". He knows what Geno can do better than any of us. He's seen him in QB meetings and the film room and on the practice field. He knows he holds the upper hand. _
By the comments made by Mac and Woody recently you need to read between the lines! by them saying things like we will eventually sign Fitz or Fitz come back... It is clear as day they are saying we offered him a contract that is better than he will get from anywhere else but he wants more. This tells makes me think it was a 3 year deal worth $7-8 mil per. Realistically Fitz probably wants around 12 mil per.
