My main issue is that although Fitz isn't great he is good at all the things Geno is bad at. Geno has the arm and the talent but if the Raiders game is any indication he still doesn't get it. Taking horrible sacks, not throwing the ball away when he should, poor decision making. His stats that game were fine and all but he still did the same maddening shit he did here in his 2 years as starter. If by year 3 decision making is still and issue then I just don't think it will ever click and though he does have talent I don't think he has enough to overcome the inevitable two or 3 backbreaking mistakes per game he will make.
Notice I said "venture to say". What percentage of your post are in regards to Geno (in one way or another) do you say?
I don't think Geno is the answer, but I don't hate him. But considering that you made this thread because of a throwaway comment from a former player, you're going to get some flack for it.

Whoever bring up anything about Geno that maybe positive going to catch "flack for it". The truth is none of us really know what the rest of Geno career will be. This maybe his last time on a NFL roster or he could go on and be a HOF QB. We just don't know.

Very accurate post... and posters that believe Geno could excel with the talent just have to go back and review the Oak game and if they still believe he is , then I want whatever they are smoking.
