    Anyone reporting how this breaks out? We all know that NFL deals aren't really worth shit, other than the bonus and first year. Is year one more than six mil? Guess so.

    The Bengals are stupid. Why not just keep Houshmenzadeh? Maybe he didn't want to stay. What was their hurry to ink Coles anyway? It looked like they were about his only option.

    Wow. Coles is barely cold and a topic involving him is immediately banished to the NFL Forum! The mere posting of the announcement that he signed elsewhere is met with harsh criticism and rebuke! lol

    Are we allowed to mention his name in this forum anymore?

    Too funny. I suppose the treatment of this post by everyone is a true indicator of how he was valued as a Jet by most here. The good news is that I too, hadn't realized there was a separate NFL topic on this board, so I've learned something today. I have yet to post a new topic yet anyhow. I won't post a topic until I get a better avatar. One showing some more skin. AND more (or less) post-it notes!

    More power to him now that the deal is done. He got what he wanted and we got what we wanted. I think Cincy overpaid, but most teams are doing so this offseason. If Michael Clayton is getting $5 million per, Coles was going to get 7 from someone.
