Yeah it does seem odd, especially at 5'7, 195. Like you said, it can't hurt sometimes those tiny guys workout, they get lost amongst the huge defenders.

Almost like a certain other player that was a beloved Jet and only 5'10, 185, lol...

    Can't remember his name, haha

I have a few inside sources, and apparently woodhead tore up the defense as a slot during the new england week. have also heard that he has played slot and done very well against the d.

Woodhead is interesting, but can he really succeed at his size? He gets hit blind by a LB and it's going to be ugly.

That said, whatever gives us another weapon I'm all for.

Yeah, your inside source was Rex Ryan's press conference from today, as he said exactly what you just wrote. Get out of here with that "inside source" crap

According to my inside sources, I am about to rip a huge wet fart.

My inside sources are never wrong.

Could the Woodhead move suggest Smith is on his way to IR?

That's a possibility, but only if Smith's injury would keep him out for a long period of time (say 4 games) IMO.

ditto - Ryan's comments didn't come out until about 2:15 EDT - note time of this post before you cast stones.

I tought he had a decent game but when i checked the stats before it really suprised me
first NFL Start - 4 receptions 72 yards and that nice long 53 yarder which i believe is our longest catch so far this season. I think despite being a bit of a tool the kid has great speed and the ability to make the big play, I have faith in him to start if cotch cant go.

I guess you didn't see him blow by Yeremiah Bell and Will Allen like they we're practice squad scrubs? On another note, talk about trying to get help up top from the Safety... It's not really help over the top if the receiver SMOKES you both!
