You can't compare the two, I'm sorry. Pennington also had Coles for his starts. Pennington still threw terrible 4th quarter INT's in 4 straight games. Pennington wasn't on his ass half the time like Clemens was.

We can't make this an argument about Pennington/Clemens, because the QB position isn't the problem on this team. We have no offensive line right now. Moore is garbage, and so is Clement and anyone else we throw out there besides our draft picks. We NEED a line, people.

The defense looks like it is starting to come together as a unit. D-Rob is playing much much better (what is it about him and second half of the season?). Harris is an absolute monster so far, with a crap line in front of him. Ellis is picking it up, even Coleman and Bowens are getting off blocks and making tackles.

Clemens has been thrown into the fire against 4 of the TOP pass defenses and 3 of the top defenes overall, and he has won us one game and taken us to OT in one other, as well as effectively tying the game if I was playing receiver instead of stonehands McCairens. We can't judge him yet. Sure, he had an awful game today. I don't know if Namath himself could have done better, running around on those gimpy knees all day. I don't think Clemens had a play to stand back for 3 seconds and set himself.

Clemens need men on the Oline....also having alil speed @ WR would've made a big difference IMO. He was running for his life for most of the game.....also he's making his 4th start against a very good defense....some of these post are unreal.

Dallas , Washington and Baltimore are currently 24th , 25, and 13 against the Pass. Baltimore D is overated this year , people are confusong them with those of the last few years. When the Season is over they wont even be in the top 10.

Clemens had no less time today than Chad has had - Our O Line cannot run Block - but Clemens had some opportunity today - he just didnt make the plays.

Their pass rush against the little oline that we have is no match. Numbers mean nothing to me....Oline and blocking scheme is a joke....from the beginning our Oline was getting abused. We must get bigger and nastier on the Oline...also having alil speed @ WR will help, not having Coles was big.
